The Roots ...

Our history with the Lagotto began in the late 70 'when then twenties by the untimely death of my father, passionate truffle hunter, had inherited besides the passion for the world of truffles his mongrel dog. Excellent! but obviously only with him ... it was then that I decided to grow a baby of my own ...

During a trip to Romagna accompanying a friend who wanted to buy truffles, accidentally I saw an elderly truffle / trainer, a Lagotto, known at the time as "curly dog". I liked him immediately for his appearance, for the good character and I was impressed that the owner would use mainly for the "truffle hunting" and keep it jealously Lagotto that, when they have several other breeds to train. The air almost of mystery around this dog led me to want to look for a puppy of this breed quite rare at the time and after a year of research came Lilla.

Lille, with his passion and his natural gifts taught me so much about the art of truffles and go after more than thirty years, even today, his descendants is a fundamental part of Livestock.
